Tiny Owlet Hiding in His Mother's Feathers
Marina Scarr is a Wildlife photographer and she thought of snapping
a solitary owl. She captures this stunning bird in her nest. But when you have
a closer look you would reveal there was a tiny owlet hiding in his mother’s
feathers in Desoto Park, Florida. Their matching plumage meant the 10-day-old
chick was almost unseen. Maybe he was playing a game of beak-a-boo.
Bridalveil Fall from Rainbow Point
The staff show in Yosemite is
doing so great we needed extra work to hang! Photographer put in this more
"grand" Yosemite view in the show several days ago and it sold this
morning to a very nice couple in the park for the annual Yosemite Conservancy
Spring Forum. Soon the water will be at its peak. Hopefully we can get
something akin this year.

Leopardus Wild Cat Genus
The ocelot ranges from 68 to 100 centimeters
(27 to 39 in) in length, plus 26 to 45 centimeters (10-18 in) in tail length,
and classically weighs 8 to 18 kilograms (18-40 lb), though much bigger
individuals have occasionally been recorded, making it the largest of the normally
dainty Leopardus wild cat genus. It has sleek, smooth fur, rounded ears and
relatively large front paws. Although alike in appearance to the oncilla and
margay, which inhabit the similar region, the ocelot is larger.

Amazing Rainbow Vista
This is really an amazing Rainbow Vista, rainbow of multicolored rocks at Valley of Fire during
sunset. The Nevada State Park sign states, “Rainbow Vista: You can look across 150 million years of time. The great maze of canyons,
domes, towers, ridges and valleys before you are carved from sand
deposited at that time when dinosaurs were walked on the earth. This is wild,
virtually untouched wilderness. It is an ‘Adventure in Color’ for you
to experience by car and on foot. Photo by LDELD.

Massive Iceberg
It's like a beautiful scene from a different time on earth, or a completely different
planet altogether. Passed down through Jökulsárlón lagoon through an
outlet of the Vatnajökull Glacier, icebergs enter into the North
Atlantic. Formed and polished by the ocean, the tide leaves a stunning gallery of massive iceberg sculptures on the volcanic black
beaches of Iceland. Photographed here at sunset, just after a rain
storm. For scale, this iceberg is about the size of a Jeep.

Mushroom King
In this eye-catching closeup, you can see hundreds of ‘little brown mushrooms‘
covering a tree and few are little umbrellas, some only see the
dying one in the middle; and several apparently, are simply
repulsed by such a large amount of fungi in one place. I am undecided,
yet inexplicably drawn to this photo. What do you think of this little
mushroom kingdom?
