The Middle Falls of the Genesee River at Letchworth State Park in New York

Letchworth State Park is a New York state park located southwest of Rochester and southeast of Buffalo in Livingston. Within the park, there are three large waterfalls on the Genesee River and as many as fifty waterfalls found on tributaries that flow into it; the deep gorge formed by the river, with rock walls. The middle of the three falls, prompted the area's reputation as the "Grand Canyon of the East.

Bora Bora Island

Bora Bora is an island in the Pacific Ocean under the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia. Its original Tahitian name is Pora Pora, meaning "First Born". An earlier transcription of it in the 18th /19th-century is 'Bolabolla' or 'Bollabolla'. The island, about 230 km northwest of Papeete, is fenced off by a lagoon and a barrier reef. The remnants of an extinct volcano formed two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu with its highest point tipping at 727m.
