14.) Finally, this one's totally USELESS, but a nice trick. Have someone stick their arm out to the side, straight, palm down. Press down on his wrist with two fingers. He'll resist, and his arm will stay horizontal. Then, have him put his foot on a surface that's half an inch off the ground, like a stack of magazines, and do the trick again. Because his spine position is thrown off, his arm will fall right to his side, no matter how much he tries to resist.

The Ancient Cliff House (Guyaju), 'the biggest maze of China', was a considerable discovery relating to the study of ancient Chinese people who inhabited this north part of the country. Therefore, no precise record of it has ever been found yet, so nobody exactly knows its origins. Almost 92 KM (about 57 miles) from Beijing, the house was hewn from the craggy cliffs overlooking Zhangshanying Town, Yanqing County. The fascinating house complex has more than 110 stone rooms, and is the largest cliff residence ever discovered in China.

More importantly on each side of the precipitous cliffs, adjacent stone houses, rectangular and square, large and small, were built. These homes vary in sizes, from over 20 square meters to 3-4 square meters. A number of houses are interlinked perpendicularly, while some are interconnected horizontally. Few have a single room, while some have 2 to 3 connecting rooms. Stone steps, and stone ladders are used to connect the storeys of a complete cliff house. Stone lamp-stands, stone hearths, closets, and mangers in the caves, the windows and gates all remain as traces of their strange ancient inhabitants. Moreover; few houses were built with kangs, a kind of bed which can be heated from below on cold days.

The most enthralling one is a two-storey stone house, with six finely engraved stone pillars propping it up. Within the house, there is a wing enclosing a small room with a stone table, stone stools, and a broad stone bed. This shrewdly constructed stone room is at the highest spot of the cliff house, and is considered to be the residence of a chief of the day. Biggest Ever Black Hole Discovered in the Small Galaxy NGC 1277

Astronomers claimed that they have discovered the biggest ever black hole in the small galaxy called NGC 1277 which is situated around 250 million light years away from our planet. This galaxy constitutes the mass equal to 17 billion suns. The biggest ever black hole sits in the NGC 1277 galaxy in Perseus constellation.

This gigantic black hole forms around 14 percent of the mass of host galaxy. When compared with the 0.1 per cent of the usual black hole, this massive black hole adds the mass which is equal to 17 billion suns.

The NGC 1277 galaxy as well as many others would alter the theories about how these galaxies and black holes evolve. This galaxy is merely 10 percent of the mass as well as size of the Milky Way, the galaxy in which Earth is situated. The true stone house, in the mountains of Fafe, Portugal is inspired by the Flintstones; this strange house was constructed between two gigantic stones on the hillside of Fafe Mountains in Portugal. Like most contemporary homes, it has a front door, roof, and selection of windows, while the huge spherical boulder on the uphill side of the house and scoop-shaped end give it a primitive feel. It’s a bit of a disgrace that the simplest way to describe this glorious structure requires reference to a cartoon from the 1960s, but the way in which it incorporates its natural setting defies most conventional description. This strange house was built in 1974 as a family’s rural retreat, but in modern years it has attracted the consideration of tourists and architecture enthusiasts alike for being so completely integrated into its natural surroundings. Interest in the stone house has grown to the point that the current owner, Vitor Rodrigues, has had to move to find solace from the curious visitors.

When Veterinarians advised to Euthanize the animal, the owner Jude took a bold decision to inspire the dog to live a dignified life of its own by encouraging the dog to walk on two legs. Added to this attempt from the owner and her family, it is this little ones will power and survival instinct that has lead the animal to gain the respect of humans. One of the many amazing things about animals is they don’t feel self pity. If they lose a limb or their sight, for example, they just find a way to get on with things, a quality more of us humans should consider. This story has filled every one heart with so much love and joy and they feel as if it will happily burst. Blessings to the people who gave this doggie a chance to experience life! The World's Tallest Building is Back on Track to be built in 90 Days

The world's tallest building is back on track to be completed in just 90 days, in spite of rumors that the Chinese construction company behind the project and schedule. A senior vice president told that project is plans to build the 838-meter skyscraper in the Hunan Province capital of Changsha "will go on as planned with the completion of five storey’s a day.

On the current timetable, the building should be finished by March 2013.The construction company said the building would top out at 838 meters 10 meters higher than the Burj Khalifa, which is currently the world's tallest building and cost $628 million to construct, a fraction of the cost of the Burj.

It also promised to do the work at light speed, and would be finish in just three months. Whereas in comparison to The Burj took five years to completed. BSB plans to do the work quickly by using a proprietary prefabrication technique. It eventually hopes to sell standardized skyscrapers around the world and become the "McDonald’s of the sustainable building industry.

According to the company Sky City will be mixed use, with luxury apartments, low income housing, and space for businesses and retail. Project will also be earthquake-resistant and have 31 high-speed elevators to take visitors to the upper-level observation decks.

Researchers says Galapagos Tortoise can be Revived

Lonesome George, the late reptile prince of the Galapagos Islands, may be dead, but researchers predict he may not be the last giant tortoise of his species after all, and they may be able to resurrect the Pinta Island subspecies by launching a cross-breeding program with 17 other tortoises found to contain genetic material akin to that of Lonesome George, who died June 24 at the Pacific Ocean archipelago off Ecuador's coast after repeated failed efforts to reproduce, and can be accomplished.

It would be the first time that a species was recovered after having been declared wiped out. But it won't happen overnight. This is going to take about 100 to 150 years. Researchers took DNA samples from 1,600 tortoises on Wolf volcano, and found the Pinta variety in 17, though their overall genetic makeup varied. Through cross-breeding, 100 percent pure species" can be achieved.

17 tortoises were being transferred from Isabela Island, where the volcano is situated, to the park's breeding center at Santa Cruz. The analysis on Wolf volcano was conducted by Yale University and the Galapagos Park with financial help from the Galapagos Conservancy. In a news release, researchers predict that giant tortoises from Pinta Island might have arrived at Wolf volcano after being taken off by whaling ships for food and later cast overboard.

So far 14 species of giant tortoise originally inhabited the islands' 1,000 kilometers off Ecuador's coast and 10 survive. Approximately there are 180,000 people annually visit the Galapagos. Before human being arrived, the islands were home to tens of thousands of massive tortoises. The number fell to about 3,000 in 1974, but the revival program run by the national park and the Charles Darwin Foundation has accomplished something in increasing the overall population to 20,000. Lonesome George's age at death was not confirmed, but researchers believed he was about 100, not particularly old for a giant tortoise.
