Stunning View of Sunrise on Rakaposhi

Rakaposhi is a beautiful mountain in the Karakoram mountain range in Pakistan. It is located in the Nagar Valley about 100 km north of the city of Gilgit in the Gilgit–Baltistan province of Pakistan. In the local language Rakaposhi means "Snow Covered” and also recognized as Dumani ("Mother of Mist"). Rakaposhi ranked is 27th highest in the world and 12th highest in Pakistan, but it is more famous for its true nature beauty than its rank might suggest. In a colloquial sense, i.e. measured from base to summit, Rakaposhi with its uninterrupted 6000 m vertical rise is the tallest mountain on Earth. Rakaposhi was first climbed in 1958 by Mike Banks and Tom Patey, members of a British-Pakistani expedition, through the Southwest Spur-Ridge route, but both of them suffered slight frostbite during the ascent. Moreover another climber unfortunately slipped and fell on the descent and died during the night.

Mist Comes Out of Niagara Falls

I’m sure this maybe the most impressive thing about Niagara Falls is the sheer amount of mist that comes out of the waterfall. You can realize it from fat away and if the wind is not in the right direction, you will get soaked. In the winter seasons, the water instantly freezes all over you!

The Totem Pole & Ye Bei Chei Rocks

Photographer jumped over a small icy creek and scrambled up a tall, frost-covered sand dune to make this photo of one of Monument Valley's iconic back country sites. Navajo Nation, Arizona, USA

Tiny Owlet Hiding in His Mother's Feathers

Marina Scarr is a Wildlife photographer and she thought of snapping a solitary owl. She captures this stunning bird in her nest. But when you have a closer look you would reveal there was a tiny owlet hiding in his mother’s feathers in Desoto Park, Florida. Their matching plumage meant the 10-day-old chick was almost unseen. Maybe he was playing a game of beak-a-boo.

Bridalveil Fall from Rainbow Point

The staff show in Yosemite is doing so great we needed extra work to hang! Photographer put in this more "grand" Yosemite view in the show several days ago and it sold this morning to a very nice couple in the park for the annual Yosemite Conservancy Spring Forum. Soon the water will be at its peak. Hopefully we can get something akin this year.

Breathtaking Photo of Peacock

Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful things, we must carry it with us or we find it not. The breathtaking photo of a beautiful creature.

Leopardus Wild Cat Genus

The ocelot ranges from 68 to 100 centimeters (27 to 39 in) in length, plus 26 to 45 centimeters (10-18 in) in tail length, and classically weighs 8 to 18 kilograms (18-40 lb), though much bigger individuals have occasionally been recorded, making it the largest of the normally dainty Leopardus wild cat genus. It has sleek, smooth fur, rounded ears and relatively large front paws. Although alike in appearance to the oncilla and margay, which inhabit the similar region, the ocelot is larger.
